Why can’t I visit the webshop?

Are all products unique?
The chosen metal, the application, the choice of top and base and the color of the powder coating are all factors, which give each table a unique appearance. But also the raw materials and the flow of the metal can make an appearance look slightly different on 2 tables with the same characteristics.
What do I recommend for the maintenance of the tables?
The tables are finished with a very hard 2-component varnish, which is used in the automotive industry. But even car paint scratches in the long run. These are normal traces of use.
Cleaning must be done with a damp cloth and green household soap only. Because of the lacquer layer, absolutely no abrasive polish or abrasive cleaning products should be used.
How high is the table?
The standard height of the base is 28,08/28,47 inches (or 72/73 cm). The table top is 4,5 inch or 5 cm, so the tables are standard 30,03/30,42 inches (or 77/78 cm) high. A little varioation is possible because of protecting felt or rubber underneath the table base or legs.

Do I pay more for a slightly higher or lower frame?
No, this is within the current estimated prices.
A customer wants a table top over 9.8 feet
Tables larger than 9.8 feet or 3 meters are certainly possible. For an accurate price offer, please call our customer service. They can provide you with details and a price calculation
Why an XL frame with a table top over 102 inches?
We strongly recommend to choose the large frame with a tabletop larger than 102 inches (260 cm) to ensure stability for the table.
Are there more powder coat colors for the steel table bases?
We can arrange any color powder coating. With smooth or fine-structured finish. In the webshop you will find 9 predefined colors, but all RAL colors are possible. If you want a different color, please contact customer service.
We do not offer chrome, stainless steel or brushed stainless steel table legs or bases.
How can I order for the showroom?
You can use our webshop or order with an email or a phone call with our service department. At this website you can register for a B2B account. Once you have received your login details, you can order and pay online. Do you prefer to speak to us first? Please call our service department.
How do I order a special size or height?
If you can’t order a desired size in our webshop, you can pass it on to our service department. This concerns table tops above 9.8 feet and/or height of a base which differs from 28,08/28,47 inches (72/73 cm). And for all other questions, like a special product.
Why do I pay in advance?
Because we deliver customized products, we make the tables in the specified colors and dimensions. Because we guarantee a good service and handling of unexpected deviations.

Why do I have to agree to the terms and conditions?
In our terms and conditions you can find all the established conditions as explained here in short. It gives all details about ordering, deliveries, returns, payments and disputes. It is important that you take note of them and agree to them when placing an order.

How long does it take to deliver?
At the time we enter your order into our production schedule, our goal is to deliver your order between 6 and 8 weeks calculated for the Netherlands and Belgium. Unless you have indicated otherwise. In the unlikely event that we deviate from this target, we will contact you.
Delivery times for other countries are subject to negotiation. Depending on distance and transportation method. Therefore we will contact you after placing an order.
Special transport costs are at your own expense. This includes boat fees and hoisting costs.
Delivery takes place on the first floor in the buyer’s warehouse or showroom.
Damage caused by transport must be reported on the day of delivery by email with photos of the damage. You can send these to our service department. They will contact you and help you.
Returned products, of which damage has been reported in the requested manner (with photo and explanation, sent to us by email) and approved, will be for the account of Design by Ricardo.
Returns due to incorrect deliveries will be compensated by Design by Ricardo BV.
We give 1 year warranty on the manufacturing of our furniture. This concerns material and production defects.
Improper handling of and/or inadequate care for the delivered goods excludes any complaint and makes the warranty void, if and to the extent that the complaint is related to such improper handling or inadequate care.
Design by Ricardo BV can restore intensive traces of use and improper treatment of the surface. We do this after inspection and consultation. We will charge costs for repairs depending on transport and production hours.
